Welcome to the Crackington Haven Web Site
Crackington Haven is located on the North Coast of Cornwall between Bude and Boscastle on the south-west tip of England.
Dogs: Are NOT permitted on the beach at any time between 1st May and 31st October - there are (thankfully) no exceptions.
Set on one of the most rugged coasts of the UK, Crackington Haven is a small, unspoilt cove set within part of the National Trust moorland of the north coast.
Famed for its sandy beach, safe bathing and breath-taking scenery; Crackington Haven has been designated an "AONB" or An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Visitors from across the world come to sample the delights of the valley, the hospitality of the residents and the tranquility that the area offers.
East Wood (on the south side of the bay) is one of the oldest natural woods left in the UK with wildlife, flora and fauna seldom found anywhere else in the
British Isles. Walks from Bude (to the north) down to Padstow and beyond (to the south) bring ramblers of all ages and nationalities to the valley. With
the Haven Cafˇ, cheap, copious parking and the local Inn, there is something for nearly everyone all year around.
Accommodation of virtually every type is available all year round, although it is almost imperative to book well in advance. Within a short distance there
is the world-famous Eden Project as well as Tintagel (King Arthur's Seat), picturesque fishing villages of Port Isaac, Boscastle and Port Gavern (the
setting for the recent Doc Martin series) and the moors - home to Jamaica Inn. Locally there is Pony Trekking, deep sea fishing, windsurfing, a number of
golf courses, local shops and (a rarity in Cornwall now) a post office.

|Whilst visitors may feel that they can do whatever they please whilst on holiday, there are a few people who are full time residents in the valley
who do not appreciate loud music and parties into the small hours of the mornings. Due to antisocial behaviour by some visitors and residents some may feel more
obliged to call the authorities now if loud music persists past 11:00pm. Fireworks are not permitted to be set off BY LAW after 21:00. You have been warned.
Please do not email the webmaster for reservations or accomodation queries - they will not be answered or forwarded.
